Renee is the proud owner of Basement Barbers, a thriving barbershop built on resilience, passion, and community. Leaving school in Grade 10, Renee pursued a career in hairdressing to prove her doubters wrong. After honing her craft for 12 years at Kenmore Village Barbers, she took the leap to open her own shop, creating a space that blends quality service with a welcoming atmosphere.

The Early Days—
Starting as a one-woman operation, Renee’s hard work and determination transformed Basement Barbers into a community favorite, overcoming challenges like COVID-19 and local floods. She credits her success to her strong team and the loyalty of her clients.
